Position Details

The Less-Commonly-Taught Languages Center of the Department of Linguistics, University of Pittsburgh, seeks applications for one position of a non-tenure-stream Assistant Instructor for all levels of Hindi language instruction. The initial contract will run from September 1, 2017 through August 30, 2018 and is renewable.

Qualification Requirements:
- MA in Hindi, language teaching, linguistics, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in teaching all levels of Hindi in an academic setting
- Native or near-native ability in Hindi
- Good command of spoken and written English

The position wrfl have responsibility for teaching 27 credits per year. Some additional administrative responsibilities may be assigned.

Salary and benefits:
