Position Details

The Department of Environmental and Occupational Health, Graduate School of Public Health (GSPH) at the University of Pittsburgh, is currently recruiting for full-time faculty positions at the level of Research Assistant Professor, non tenure stream. Applicants should have a PhD or M.D. with at least three (3) years of post-doctoral laboratory experience in Environmental Health Sciences including interest in one or more of the following: Experimental pathogenesis of environmental lung disease, environmental toxicology and experimental neurodegeneration, Gene x environment interactions and acute and chronic experimental lung disease, biochemistry and biophysics of partially reduced oxygen and nitrogen species, or Metal toxicology and cardiovascular disease. Preferred skill sets include, stem cell biology with relevant technologies, contemporary murine genomics, whole animal physiology and/or experience with transgenic animal models and molecular genetics.
