Position Details

The Division of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology in the Department of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh and UPMC are seeking outstanding physicians for clinician and clinician-educator positions at the assistant or associate professor level (non-tenure track). The Division of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology has built a dynamic and collaborative group of academic clinicians with expertise in Rheumatology. We are looking for candidates who excel in teaching medical students, internal medicine residents and Rheumatology fellows and have outstanding clinical acumen and skills. There will be opportunities for academic growth, career development and mentorship, with protected time for educational and clinical research activities, depending on applicant interests and accomplishments. We have strong basic and clinical research programs, and encourage translational research activities. Academic appointment is commensurate with professional experience. Compensation packages are competitive. The Division of Rheumatology was recently ranked #8 in the country and #1 in Pennsylvania by the U.S. News and World Report.
